The church in the village of Vovkiv was built in 1702. It is the second oldest church in the Pustomytiv region of Lviv Oblast. Rains and standing water badly damaged the church’s foundation. In May 2019 FTPUSA donated funds to replace the “gonty,” or wooden shingles, of the church and the bell tower.
