The project in Vinnytsia is unique for many reasons, and one FTPUSA is proud to support in this time of war in Ukraine. The Church of Yuri the Victorious is newly built, on the territory of the National Guard of Ukraine base in Vinnytsia. It was constructed with the support of the National Guard's commanders and soldiers, as well as benefactors and the local community. The church's interior frescoes and icons are being painted by four soldiers of the unit - three men and one woman - artists who saw combat and were wounded. FTPUSA donated funds for the purchase of art supplies and materials in February 2023; the soldiers are donating their talent.
